Apprenticeship training is either fully funded through Apprenticeship Levy for a large amount of today’s employers, or 95% funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency.
There are some financial incentives dependent on the age and circumstances of your apprentice. Sportscape Education are able to advise you on how best to fund your apprentices.

As Sportscape Education is an independent employer, we are just as invested in you! We share your vision to train your apprentice(s) to the highest standards in the sector they have a passion for.
We will be able to provide support and guidance with funding applications, registration of apprentices and recruitment help.
We will also offer observation support and review periods to track and monitor progression.
In some cases Sportscape Education have an incentive to provide each apprentice up to £500 towards any relevant (GB) additional qualification such as Archery GB instructor award. We believe this will help develop their skills to be reflected in their delivery with your company.

For an apprenticeship post you will need to offer a minimum contract length (dependent on the course).
As a employer you are responsible for paying the wages of the apprentice. The wage will depend on their age and duration of the course, find out more about National Minimum Wage and Apprentice Pay here
The apprentice will need to be contracted to at least 30 hours per week to meet the requirements of the apprenticeship. The apprentice will have to complete any off the job training and apprenticeship work within these hours. Find out more about Off-the-Job Training here
The apprentice will be entitled to holiday pay and sick pay in line with your company policies.
In March 2023 Sportscape Education was subject to a full 3-day Ofsted inspection where we were graded ‘Good’ in all areas including quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and apprenticeships. We are very proud of this achievement and will strive to better this performance to ensure all learners get the best possible experience.
